About Eden
The Church
Eden Community Church (formerly known as Eden
Chapel, Eden Bible Chapel and Eden Hall) is a Christian church
located at 74 View Road, Mt Eden that primarily serves the Mt Eden
area but also has members from all over Auckland. Following the
"Open" Brethren tradition, it emphasises Bible teaching, open
worship and evangelism.
The Church began in 1898 in a rented fire
brigade hall in Eden Terrace, and five years later relocated to its
own premises at 74 View Road, Mt Eden and became known as Eden Hall.
The church supports many missionaries around the world and inside
New Zealand. If you would like any more information about the church
and its ministries or would like to support any of its many
missionaries, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Visitors are most welcome to attend any of the
services. The main service is 10am Sundays (including communion),
also a monthly service 7pm. Limited car parking available at the
side of the church (from Alderley Road, off View Road.) Additional
parking in carpark, behind the building on the corner of View Road
and Dominion Road.
